Jared Kaiser is a recognized leader in the natural gas industry with 25 years of experience. He has proven success serving in bp’s North American Gas & Power business unit as COO, Natural Gas Origination and Operations. In that role he had responsibility for all commercial customer facing activity conducted through eight regional offices including activity in Canada and Mexico. Immediately before that, Jared served as COO, Global Natural Gas Liquids responsible for trading and marketing teams in Houston, London and Singapore.
Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President - Gas Origination covering the bulk of North American geography through multiple roles where he was responsible for leading teams focused on developing and executing commercial strategy including trading, origination and asset management. The teams were substantially focused on originating solutions for producers and consumers.
Jared has spoken at many industry events, including the LDC Forums. He believes developing talent and supporting the team first is the main driver of success.
As a native of Houston, he earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University. Jared has always been active in recruiting, and plans to continue his involvement with the Trading, Risk and Investments Program at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School.
Scott joined PathPoint from Infinite Energy, a $500 million wholesale and retail energy provider with operations in the eastern United States. During his tenure at Infinite, he was responsible for the company’s finance, treasury, accounting, risk, regulatory, and facilities functions in addition to serving as a key member of the executive leadership team.
Previously, Scott was an investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Securities, and UBS Investment Bank. His banking experience includes advising executives and boards of major corporations in the in the utilities, power generation, and pipeline space on critical strategic decisions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and financings in the debt, equity, and bank capital markets.
A native of North Carolina, Scott holds an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina and a BS in Mathematics with Honors and Distinction from The United States Naval Academy. Prior to beginning his investment banking career, he served as a nuclear-trained submarine officer in the United States Navy.
Loretta is an up-and-coming leader in the natural gas industry with incredible potential. She was critical to the natural gas trading team at Infinite Energy, where she developed a passion for scheduling and optimization, along with a firm understanding of risk management. Approaching scheduling and optimization as a puzzle to be solved – she is at the top of her class with a keen ability to identify commercial opportunity through a scheduling and optimization lens. Loretta specializes in the Southeast, using her creativity and quantitative mind to find new ways to approach scheduling and to gain commercial advantage through her deep knowledge of flow patterns and possibilities. Loretta received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Actuarial Science from the University of Florida. She has a passion for coding from her days at UF, and received a full scholarship to graduate school for Data Science before the natural gas industry came calling.
Robert Cummings is a leader with over 20 years of experience in risk, finance, and commercial roles in the energy marketing and trading industry. Robert spent 11 years in various senior product control positions, during which time he designed and implemented business frameworks to control risk exposure and ensure integrity of financial results. He held senior advisory roles in the commercial business unit while at bp, accountable for an environment of compliance and control. In addition, Robert has significant experience transforming business operations aimed at creating efficiencies and played a pivotal role in the implementation of a new ETRM for bp’s North American gas trading and marketing segment. Most recently, he was a member of the CFO’s Finance and Risk leadership team as Head of Strategic Change and Operational Risk for bp. Robert obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin along with his Master of Business Administration from Baylor University.
